TO DONATE! & LEARN MORE!

Our Story

Aloha! My name is Kristi Toguchi and I am the owner of Aerial Fitness, located in The Entertainment Capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been fortunate to have a career that has allowed me to travel the globe while sharing my art. My most rewarding shows were the opportunities to share my knowledge and craft with my community. As a third generation performer, I have followed in the footsteps of my father and grandfather. My predecessors were inspiring men who took great joy in performing at senior homes, public libraries, Shriners Hospitals, and various community events. Since both my father and grandfather have passed, I have continued our legacy and family tradition of helping my community through art and service.

Blood donations are very close to my heart. My father is featured on the Wall of Fame at the Hawaii Blood Bank for donating blood 142 times. My plan is to multiply that number tenfold and beyond! To achieve this goal, I will require quite a bit of help. My mission is to spread awareness on the importance of blood banks across the nation along with providing opportunities to those who dream of performing. I strive to combine my love of service with my passion for performance, allowing my students the experience of enhancing their lives through self expression while performing for others.

Our Project

After my father passed away, I decided to open my school, Aerial Fitness. Within the first year we organized our inaugural blood drive and student showcase while partnering with the Red Cross. We have also held a community event with Lorna Jane at Tivoli Village and began a stretch program with the KingdomFit Ministry of Las Vegas. This year we plan to double our community and charity events while continuing to cultivate our relationships with a myriad of local philanthropic organizations.

As a performing artist, I have not always have the financial resources to donate to charity. The one thing I do have is my time and unique talents, which I am grateful to put to use for those in need. Our students have worked incredibly hard to perform at previous events, and due to budget issues, their costuming consisted of generic leggings and a t-shirt. I would love to provide a professional performing atmosphere for both the charity organizations we work with as well as our students and future artists.

Please visit http://www.Aerial-Fitness.net/Blog to view our past charity and community events

I feel honored to be associated with the next generation of community donors, entertainers, athletes, and professionals. I hope to be able to instill the importance of sharing what we have to assist others in any way we can. I became a teacher to inspire others and generate change. My goal is to create future leaders and artists who recognize the importance of giving back.

Please share this campaign as widely as possible on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media!

What We Need

We need your donations in order to produce our United Blood Services Blood Drive Charity Show on August 29, 2015. I may not have the funds on my own to make this happen, but I have the heart and dedication. Most of all, I will not give up on my mission. Your donations will help us on our journey to make this charity show, and future charity shows, become a reality.

Right now we require new aerial equipment and costumes for our students to produce the best show we can. Here is the basic breakdown of our costs:
