Our Teachers

Aerial Fitness teachers put their heart and soul into their work.  They love to share their art and they teach with compassion and encouragement.  Under their guidance, you will learn about technique and showmanship.  They will help you identify your fitness and/or performing goals and do the best in their ability to make you acheive those goals.

Kristi Toguchi

Kristi Toguchi is a world-class entertainer and coach.  By combining an eclectic blend of performing arts, Kristi has created a unique style of entertainment that has been recognized throughout the world.  She has been featured in national and international venues, performing for television broadcasts, corporate clients, and non-profit organizations.

 

While attending High School, Kristi started her journey as the resident magician at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Hawaii.  Since then, Kristi has toured as a featured performer with the Pendragons Magical Theatre Company, Lindley Lopez Circus, Fern Street Circus, Tableau, and many more.  Kristi has danced with San Diego Dance Theater and has also choreographed and performed with the San Diego Opera’s production of “Turondot" and Westcoast Contortion. She was the resident aerialist at Tao Night Club in the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.  She was also selected to represent Sony in the “Sony Moving Project” appearing on televisions in Sony Stores across the nation.  

 

Kristi trained at the Mid Pacific School of the arts-Hawaii, Alvin Ailey School of Dance-New York, Sophia Isadora Academy of Circus Arts-San Diego, and Flexible Body Art-Las Vegas.  She is a native of Hawaii and holds a dance degree from the University of California, San Diego.

 

Kanoa Galios

Born in Hawaii in January 1987, Kanoa started his artistic career at the age of 5 in competitive gymnastics as an all-around gymnast.   As a young teenager, Kanoa was approached by coaches to relocate to California to excel in his gift as a gymnast.   Receiving championship titles ranging from state to regionals, he later became a recognized national gymnast.  Competing at his finest, Kanoa caught the attention of several well-known universities as well as artistic companies.

 

With so many options on his plate, Kanoa decided that the next step for his career was to go down the artistic route.   With hard work and dedication to his career, Kanoa has worked with internationally known companies such as Cirque du Soleil and David Atkins Productions in Doha, Qatar.  

 

To further broaden his horizons, he became a dance choreographer in Las Vegas shows on the strip for Oh La La in the Paris Hotel and Fantasy at the Luxor Hotel. Currently, Kanoa is a freelance artist working in the night club and corporate scene around the country.

Krista Henderson

Krista is a professional aerialist and contortionist from Illinois.   As a child, Krista was heavily involved in competitive cheer as a flyer competing at the highest level of cheer, the All-Star Cheerleading Worlds.  After 14 years of cheer, she then transitioned into a professional performing career. Krista was also a top cheer coach for 9 years. During this time, she pushed her teams to perfection and took them to the All-Star Cheerleading Summit yearly.

 

Krista has a very diverse training background including Lyra, Silks, Hammock, Rope, Chains, Contortion, and Partner Stunting. She is an experienced trainer in stretching, aerial, and flying.  Krista has performed internationally and across the country with Cirque Musica, Insomniac, Posh Productions, and Acro Factory.  She has also performed at many private events.  Krista’s passion as an aerialist/contortionist drives her to perfection. She is very driven, dependable, and committed. Krista loves sharing her passion and talent in assisting the growth of others and always pushes others to be their very best.

Ariana Sokol

Ariana Sokol is a professional contortionist based in Las Vegas.  Ari was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico where her journey began in the sport of gymnastics at the age of five.  When she was nine years old she moved to Los Angeles to further her training.  She was very successful in her sport and won numerous state, regional, and national competitions.  After completing her gymnastics career, she began coaching at her parent’s gymnastics club in California. 

 

Although she loved to teach, her true passion was to perform.  She began to train with the Aerial Hoop but discovered her true passion was in hand balancing and contortion.  In 2017, Ari moved to Las Vegas to train with the world-renowned Otgo Waller and to pursue her dreams.  Since then Ari has performed all over America and she was highlighted by Flexible Body Art LLC by performing a solo, duo, and quad act at the 20th Anniversary International Contortion Convention.  

Shyamtara

Shyamtara is a dynamic Aerial Performer. She has performed around the world on land and sea, from settings as diverse as a traditional circus to some of the World's largest nightclubs. She performs unique Solo Acts, Duo Acts, Group Acts, and production numbers.  

 

Shyamtara has performed around the world with numerous companies including Celebrity Cruises, Delyria Speigeltent Cabaret, and Cirque du Soleil's One Night for One Drop.

Her performance history brings a creative insight to coaching which is geared towards choreography and dramatic expression. She takes great pleasure in sharing her experience and passion with others.
